Welcome to the Willow and Trout shop.
I'm Kylie and I have been stitching in some way or another for as long as I can remember.
I am happiest with a needle and thread in hand creating one of a kind pieces. I am a stitcher, maker, teacher, pattern designer, heart rock collector and coffee lover.
I live in-between the bush and the sea on the mid north coast of NSW, Australia with the real Willow and Trout - my two English Springer Spaniels as well as the menagerie of wild birds and critters that visit my garden.
The wares in the shop are made with modern fabrics, beautiful threads, repurposed linens and stitchy goodness. Unique and colourful, handcrafted with a vintage vibe.
My store has all the things I love to use myself to create and I'm happy to share with you. There are vintage treasures seeking a new life, repurposed textiles for your next project, handy gadgets for the stitcher and maker as well as some finished items as well.
The store is changing and growing all the time so do pop back now and then to see the new treasures arriving.
Willow and Trout offers many items with vintage and repurposed materials. All have been laundered and will arrive smelling sweet. Our vintage wares may have imperfections and slight signs of age but I think this adds to their individual charm and the life they have lived. It's a little glimpse into their history, and I think, adds to their charm.
